Directorate Change November

TMO Renewables, a leading developer of a new process for converting biomass into fuel ethanol, today announces that Hamish Curran will, for personal reasons, step down as CEO and a member of the Board with immediate effect.

Robert Parker, who has been CFO and a member of the Board at TMO since 2007, will assume the role of Acting CEO also with immediate effect. The Board will make a decision about the appointment of a permanent CEO in due course.

Tim Yeo, Chairman of TMO said: "I would like to thank Hamish on behalf of the Board for his significant contribution to the development of TMO. Over a period of five years he has given us the benefit of his considerable international experience by establishing and developing exciting commercial opportunities far beyond TMO's UK origins. We wish him every success in his future career.

"The company has seen significant change this year, regrettably losing the consultancy advice of our founder Professor Tony Atkinson, who passed away in June, but gaining the additional insights of Peter Allen as a member of the Board in July. We are using these changes as the impetus to identify areas where we might acquire additional talent in the near future, providing greater strength and depth of management to exploit the opportunities available to us.

"Robert will be an integral part of that team and I am delighted that he will be stepping up to the role of CEO, as he has demonstrated great ability in his time at TMO, working closely with Hamish in taking the business forward in recent years not least as a key part both of fundraising processes and of its commercial development.  I look forward to reporting further progress for the company in due course."
